How to Clean Your Pit Boss Wood Pellet Grill

Tools:
1½" Plastic putty knife
Paint brush
Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum
Paper towel
Disposable gloves
Grill Brush
Cleaning pad

Let me show you how I clean my Pit Boss wood pellet grill to maintain its look and good working order!

Process:
UNPLUG YOUR GRILL... Safety First!
Scrub the grill racks with the grill brush as much as possible (this is easier to do when the grill is hot, this is why it's best practice to scrape your grill as soon as you're finished using it before turning it off)
Remove the grates exposing the deflector plate
Using the plastic putty knife, scrape broiler plate of all the gunk and drippings
Remove the deflector plate, exposing the fire pot
Take your paint brush and brush all the ashes off the auger cover
Use the putty knife again to scrap the inside of the bottom half of the grill and form a pile
Using the shop vac, suck out all of the ashes from the burn pot and the pile you just accumulated
Return all the grill components into their original spots

That's all there is to it! If you keep up the practice of maintaining your pellet grill, it will cause less problems for future cooks and keep your grill running longer.

Thanks for watching! Happy grillin'!
