Ankai Tankai Fort, Manmad | मनमाडमधील प्रसिद्ध किल्ले अंकाई टंकाई | Maharashtra forts | Ankai Killa

Hello Everyone,

In this video we gonna visit Ankai Tankai fort situated in Manmad, Nashik.

Ankai is the base village to reach this fort. You need to travel 10kms to reach its base.

Ankai and tankai both are differently situated forts on two mountains however it is connected single-lined bulwark. It is in really good condition now and reconstructed by the Archeology department.

On this fort, you will see magnificent fortification, cisterns, Architecture, Jain Caves, Temple etc.

Ankai also acts as a pilgrim place as many pilgrims come here to visit Sage Agasti Ashram. alongside this, there is also Kashi Lake. When you reach near gorge present between Ankai and Tankai there you see the big door opening on the Northwest side also called "Manmad Darwaza".

Do visit this fort to see the beautiful structure on the fort.
