INSTALLING SCREEN DOOR ROLLER

Sometimes people ask me about how to install the rollers in my screen door kits. They are easy to put in after you have done it a few times. Just hook the spring into the frame away from the corner. Then start rotating the whole roller assembly around 90 degrees. At one point the roller will snap onto the nubs that stick out from the corner.

To remove the roller its the opposite of those steps. Twist the roller assembly counter clockwise and it will become disconnected from the corner. Just try not to do too fast or the spring might flick out and hit you on the knuckle.

Been there done that about a hundred times!

The rollers are Prime Line part number B713 and the corners are part number B712, They are originally made by the Canadian company Fasco. The same parts may be known by several different part numbers depending who is making them.
