Heart racing...

Body shivering...

Spirit enlightened...

Sleep abandoned...

An experience as never before, for a

song as never before!

In my head was the sounds of the ancestral drums;

My feet stomping liberated;

My mind ablaze with lyrics I did not penned, nor I peculated.

I sort the opportunity to record, but all to no avail. Time then robbed my mind of the experience and the lyrics.

Then suddenly, after a morning of fervent prayers, I heard voices speaking to me, word for word they recited the lyrics to the song that I had forgotten. They were the voices of my ancestors calling out to me; gifting me with a message to evoke the spirits of my people, awakening their consciousness, releasing the Phoenix to rise out of the ashes.

My people, this has been two years in the making: our moment of enlightenment!

The victory of Good over evil.
