Is the Switzerland of America a myth or reality? Exploring stunning Ouray, Colorado

Said goodbye to my nice hotel stay at Mesa Verde and hit the road driving along the Million Dollar Highway - one of the greatest scenic drives in America but also considered dangerous… maybe in the winter time it gets bad?

I absolutely love Ouray Colorado!!! I can see why it’s called the Switzerland of North America. Box Cañon Falls is a must see. There is a fee but it’s so worth it. I also got to do the a short hike to check out lower cascades falls and it was beautiful. I had lunch at Maggies Kitchen and a delicious huckleberry ice cream and latte from Mouse's Chocolates and Coffee.
