Interview #2 with Dom Beken, keyboardist for “Nick Mason‘s Saucerful of Secrets” (early Pink Floyd)

Here's my second interview with Dom Beken, keyboardist for Pink Floyd's latest incarnation if you will by "Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets". Apart from Dom and Pink Floyd's original drummer Nick Mason, the band consists of bassist Guy Pratt (longtime bass player for David Gilmour and the post Roger Waters era of Pink Floyd), guitarist/singer Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) and guitarist Lee Harris.

This interview was most special, because - as with the first interview- Dom Beken allowed me on stage again with him, this time after soundcheck, to do the interview. As I stated before, Dom is an extremely nice and humorous bloke, one of the nicest guys I know in the music business I might add. I hope you enjoy watching the interview just as much as I did conducting it.

The music you hear on the outro is some of the original music Dom composed to be played pre-show and during the intermission. Meanwhile, I myself being the geek that I am couldn’t resist the temptation of hitting the famous “echo” piano notes a few times on my little Yamaha Reface CP on the intro.
