⚠️ Road Safety – Skardu to Jaglot
The Skardu Road is scenic but demanding:

📶 Very limited mobile coverage — download offline maps
🕐 Avoid driving after sunset
☕ Pack snacks and stay hydrated
Despite recent upgrades under the Skardu Road Expansion Project, this road still requires full attention and cautious driving.
🏡 Arriving in Hunza – My Evening in Karimabad
After this long but beautiful journey, I checked in at Mezban Hotel in Karimabad, Hunza. A a cozy and centrally located spot with panoramic views of the valley.
As the sun set, I wandered through the Karimabad Bazar, soaking in the local culture, handmade crafts, warm people, and mountain air.
🍕 For dinner, I stopped at Pamir Pizza. One of Hunza’s most famous food joints, serving hot, cheesy pizza in the heart of the mountains.
☕ And to end the perfect day, I visited the iconic Cafe De Hunza, known for their legendary walnut cake and Coffee. The best dessert combo in the north!
📍 Next Stop: Khunjerab Pass!
This video ends in Karimabad, but the journey isn’t over. In the next episode, I’ll be continuing the road trip all the way to Khunjerab Top, through Passu, Sost, and beyond.
