One of the few Supreme Court judges who always spoke his mind, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul in this interview with Debayan Roy, speaks about how  it is not the Court’s job to support or oppose the government and that the court cannot be a replacement for the government.  Justice Kaul on independence of investigative agencies clarifies that to say the government will have no role in such agencies is something that will never occur.
Justice Kaul opens up about the recent listing controversy as well and says that lawyers feel agitated when that system is disturbed they feel a little agitated. "There is a system but and I think we have to trust the Chief Justice," Justice Kaul says.
