Ah, the 80s. What a decade.

...

Um... the 2010s. Yeah. That's what I meant.

There's so much to say, and so little space. I'll try to keep it brief as I can.

I did lyrics for Plastic Love back in January for my good friend Takara (check out her amazing cover here: http://bit.ly/2sCGIsN) and just knew I had to sing them for myself. Such a great song. Really takes you back to a time and place you weren't even there for.

So with her blessing (and a cameo too) we set out to do a cover! It was originally just going to be clips from my vacation to Tokyo this past summer, but my editor came up with this cool idea with old Japanese TV to try and evoke the same feeling the song does. This is the result. I hope you all like it!

Plastic Love was the song to cap off the decade. Period. I don't know how to explain it, but it just... feels right, you know? Something about it is so melancholic, yet hopeful. I think that's where a lot of us are right now.

Let's make the next decade the best one yet.
