It's hard to swallow that this turned out to be my last MG trip within SR that, once, was predominantly MG. And I couldn't have chosen a better time to travel, with monsoon lingering around and lush greenery all over. Thoroughly enjoying the climb from Punalur to Bhagavathipuram which included a crossing at Edamann, passage through the classic Pathimoonu Kannara Palam (13 arches bridge) and a loco ride. My companion, Vickram, accompanied me till Tenkasi. This part covers the ride till Edapalayam.
