Dan does a comparison between the King Kong 1976 4K UHD steenbok and the Shout Factory Blu-ray Collectors edition. Surprisingly enough it wasn't a straight forward 4K is better. The steel box had almost no special features while the Shout Factory set has many. The theatrical cut is also only present on the 4K version of the set so you cannot watch it on standard Blu-ray if you bought this set thinking you can use it and eventually upgrade to 4K down the road.
