My Story

Hello, my name is Jim Glazebrook, founder of Life’s Guide to Excellence. For most of my teens and 20s, I was looking for rules or principles to live by, which would help me to lead the happy and fulfilling life that I wanted.

Now and again I would find what seemed like good ideas and use them, however, after a while, I would abandon them because they never really helped me in the long term. Because of this I felt lost, with no direction in my life and felt that fate would dictate how my life would play out.

After a serious breakup, I decided that enough was enough: I was at rock bottom. I needed to take responsibility for my life.

I made a commitment to myself that I wanted to be in control and after that, I read everything that I could find about self-development and I started to see massive improvements in all areas of my life. Now I am want to share what I have learnt and am still learning so that we all can be the best versions of ourselves.
