Loneliness isn’t just sadness.

It can feel like anger, shame, sorrow, or even jealousy. Sometimes it hides behind a busy schedule, an illness, a loss—or simply the feeling of being forgotten.

Nations around the world are beginning to take loneliness seriously.
In Australia, people are invited to try forest bathing.
The UK has appointed a Minister for Loneliness.
In Paris, they host street brunches to make city life feel more like a village.

But long before these efforts, the Bible acknowledged the ache of loneliness.

David cried, “My friends avoid me… my neighbors stay far away” (Psalm 38).
Job lamented, “Those I love have turned against me.”
And Jesus—betrayed, abandoned, utterly alone in His suffering—was not defeated. Because He overcame, you can too.

In this video, Ashika shares how losing her mother in childhood filled her life with darkness, loneliness, and questions about God. She struggled with fear, depression, and even the desire to die, feeling abandoned and without purpose. But as she turned to prayer, worship, and the Word of God, peace began to enter her heart. Slowly, her burdens lifted, her faith was restored, and she discovered that God had chosen her for a purpose. Today, Ashika lives with joy, hope, and a deep desire to serve the Lord faithfully.
