The 14-year-old Lion Scarface, has passed away 11th of June, 2021. His story combined with his look makes him a true legend and the undisputed “King of the Africa”. The Scarface was the most popular Lion and perhaps the main attraction of tourist in Maasai mara. Scarface earned his nickname through an injury in 2012 when he lost his right eyelid. While taking over a territory with his three brothers Hunter, Sikio and Morani. They won the territorial fight and took over the “Marsh Pride” females after defeating the lesser males. He ruled for several years together with his Brothers over an immense territory and they were challenged repeatedly but all the challengers failed, the legends have defended their territory and prides with all their might for over eight years which is an incredible accomplishment out there in the wild.
