Most the time I snipe for gold, but I recently had a very successful day detecting one of my favorite rivers. I spent a full day detecting just a small section of the river bank in an area that I've sniped good gold before. I couldn't believe how many gold nuggets I was able to find using both the Minelab GPX4500 and the Goldmonster1000, this was definitely one of my most successful prospecting trips using the metal detectors for me so far.
