CIUDAD GUZMÁN (Zapotlán El Grande) 4K | Jalisco 🇲🇽

Ciudad Guzmán es una ciudad del estado mexicano de Jalisco. Ubicada a 123 km al sur de Guadalajara, a una altitud de 1507 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Según el Censo de Población y Vivienda por parte del INEGI, cuenta con una población de 111 975 habitantes.

La Plaza Principal de Zapotlán el Grande, permite observar la gracia de las portadas de los más importantes edificios, sean de corte civil o religioso. Esta plaza, tanto por sus dimensiones como por su belleza, alguna vez fue comparada por el cronista de la ciudad de México, José Luís Martínez, con el Zócalo Capitalino, es considerado como el más grande en el estado de Jalisco.

La Catedral de San José es la sede de la Diócesis de Ciudad Guzmán y el principal templo de la misma. Construido a fines del siglo xix, se consagró hacia 1900.

Ciudad Guzmán is a city in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is located 123 km south of Guadalajara, at an altitude of 1507 metres above sea level. According to the Population and Housing Census by INEGI, it has a population of 111,975 inhabitants.

The Main Square of Zapotlan el Grande, allows us to observe the gracefulness of the façades of the most important buildings, both civil and religious. This square, both for its dimensions and its beauty, was once compared by the chronicler of Mexico City, Jose Luis Martinez, to the Capital's Zocalo, and is considered the largest in the State of Jalisco.

The Cathedral of San José is the seat of the Diocese of Ciudad Guzmán and the main temple of the same. Built at the end of the 19th century, it was consecrated around 1900.
