MY BIG CHOP ONCE AGAIN 🥲😅There’s so much to unpack! My new hair goal is to be a heatless natural, have full hair from root to end, and achieve uniform curls when I do my heatless styling. So, cutting my hair will make this goal quicker and easier to achieve. At first, I wanted waist-length hair, and my hair would have been fine if I had continued as a straight natural. But nah, I wanted something different for myself. I really want a big, curly bush! Before going heatless, I had every style you can think of, and the silk press was my favorite of them all. I had wanted to be a heatless natural for years but didn’t have products that catered to my hair type. Everything I tried in the past either made my hair dry or didn’t provide definition. I was tired! Fast forward, Ant and I started looking into formulating our own natural styling products that would work best on type 4 hair.If you’ve been following me, you know it all started with the gel, which inspired me to try two-strand twists. When I saw what my curls looked like, it was over! But I noticed my curls weren’t uniform, though I still embraced my natural hair as much as possible. The more heatless clients I serviced, the more inspired I became to start over and fully commit to the natural hair journey. Like, if I’m going to do this, I want to do it for real! I want it all—the look, the style, the health, everything.But wait, did I just become a natural hair influencer? Because I’m about to take y’all on this progress journey! I want to bring more awareness to type 4 hair because it’s not enough representation for my liking. So here we are, cheers to a new hair journey.
