This project made us appreciate the opportunities that a single material or texture can offer. It challenged us to be more creative in finding ways on how to make a single texture interesting rather than being plain and boring. Some might not prefer a raw concrete texture because it looks unfinished, too brutal or too industrial, it’s rough, or it’s dark. But this aesthetic is appealing to our client, it matches his personality, and gives him the experience he wanted to feel in his space.
