Whit Weeks committed to LSU out of high school when he was presented the opportunity to play with his older brother. Whit appeared in 11 games on starting for 3 after injury pushed him into a starting roll for awhile. He then got injured himself and missed some time due to this. Whit had a pretty good freshman season ending the year with 49 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Whit looks to improve his game under LSUs new defensive coordinator Blake Baker who is one of the better linebacker coaches in the game currently.
