Clarinetist Eddie Daniels is widely regarded as Benny Goodman's successor and, like Goodman, he is a master of both classical and jazz techniques. In this programme, recorded live from the Philharmonie, Munich, he plays Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A major K622 with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jean-Pierre Wallez. As an encore, he solos with a free jazz improvisation.
