Stonehaven Fireball festival on Hogmanay.

The annual celebration to welcome in the new year. A festival with approximately 150 year history.
Burning Fireballs are swung around for twenty minutes up and down the High Street where they are eventually thrown into Stonehaven Harbour.

It is said to clear out any bad spirits or
bad luck from the old year, and give a clean start to the New year.
This festival is attended by thousands of people from all parts of the world every year.
