Reina Rodina is a young female artist from Friesland, The Netherlands. She sings in her own minority language, Frisian, which lies closest to her heart. Her music can not be categorized easily, but the term dreampop – sounds floating from ambient to post-rock – covers it fairly. Sometimes her music touches Björk, Lamb, Yann Tiersen and Massive Attack.

In November 2011 the album ‘WetterKâld’, with songs from the tour and more, was released. The trip from dark to light and from melancholy to pride is put in wide soundscapes, over which she sings, talks, plays the piano and violin and takes her listeners on a trip through silence and chaos, a contradiction that is always important in her work.
