Camping amongst the Peak Districts infamous ‘Woolpacks’ | Essential Blizzard 2 Mod

In this video we head out on our first wild camp in the beautiful Peal District. Our journey took us from the lush Vale of Edale, up through the ever popular Grindsbrook Clough and onto the Kinder Scout Plateau. The weather was both windy and wet in equal measures.

Once atop Kinder we made our way across the moorland paths, to what can only be described as the martian landscape that is the Woolpacks. The Woolpacks are a proud cluster of bulbous looking, Gritstone rock formations.

Being unfamiliar to the area and with plenty of peaty bogs about we took our time to scour the location for a suitable camp. Eventually, we came across a pretty well sheltered bowl that allowed us to pitch camp out of reach, of the worst of the elements. The tents on this trip are the Wild Country Blizzard 2 & OEX Bobcat, and Gossamer Gear The One. This is the camp that followed.
