Known as the Daughter of the Durbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhavan's Library is located at the northeastern corner of the Bhavan and is accessed through the North Staircase.

Over 4000 books are placed in the State Library. There is a total collection of about 33000 books in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Some of these books are in Pranab Mukherjee Public Library which is visited by the residents of President’s Estate.

The library floor has a round floral pattern made of white marble and golden yellow Jaisalmer stone. The design on the floor has at its centre a geometrical pattern.
