The Comprehensive Model for Behavioral Treatment (ComB) is considered to be the optimal model for treating compulsive skin picking and other BFRBs by many experts in the field. ComB assists in identifying all the various triggers and inputs of each individual's disorder, and in tailoring a treatment that addresses each othe them in that person's case. BFRBs are complex disorders and need comprehensive treatment designed for each person's particular situation, rather than trying to force them into a one-size-fits-all program.
