[4K] Under the Queen's Umbrella & the King's Affection Filming Location : Jeonju Hyanggyo, Korea

Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School is seen as the place where princes study in K-drama, Under the Queen's Umbrella.
Parts of this location are seen as part of the royal palace in The King’s Affection; for example, in episode 1 when young Jung Ji-un chases after young Dam-i.
This place is also seen in Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

Jeonju Hyanggyo was a traditional school complex spanning several buildings, and surrounded by huge ginkgo trees in Joseon Dynasty.
It was an educational institution which was established for the purpose of educating and nurturing talents. Built in the early 15th century, it was originally located on the grounds of Gyeonggijeon Shrine. It was later rebuilt on its current site, and consists of 99 rooms.
