We are in Thekkady again, but this time we have decided to travel towards Cumbum for vineyards. Sweet and fresh grapes directly from the vineyards are motivating, but we have more to share from this trip.

ഞങ്ങൾ Woodnote റിസോർട്ടിൽ തങ്ങി അടുത്ത ദിവസം രാവിലെ കുമിളിയിൽ നിന്നും കമ്പത്തിനു യാത്ര തിരിച്ചു. കമ്പത്ത് നല്ല മുന്തിരി തോട്ടത്തിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ "നമ്മുക്ക് പാർക്കാൻ മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകൾ" എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ സോളമനെയും സോഫിയയെയും ഓർമ വന്നു. ഏതായാലും നല്ല മുന്തിരികൾ വിളഞ്ഞു പഴുത്തു നിൽക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ചയും കണ്ട് മുന്തിരി പഴങ്ങളും കഴിച്ച് മുന്തിരി ജൂസും കുടിച്ച് ഞങ്ങൾ ചിന്നമണ്ണൂർ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു പോയത് കുറച്ചു സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ പറഞ്ഞത് കേട്ടാണ്. അവിടെ ജ്യോതിസ് റെസ്റ്റോറന്റിൽ നിന്നാണ് വിഭവസമൃദ്ധമായ രുചികൾ ആസ്വദിച്ചത്.
It was not our first experience in Kumily or in Thekkady. However, this time we travelled to Cumbum as a family and wanted to enjoy the vineyards in Cumbum. It was hot there, but the vineyards were beautiful with sweet grapes on the grape vines. We continued our journey to Chinnamannur to try from Jyothis Restaurant which is famous for non-vegetarian banquet.
Jyothis restaurant in Chinnamannur is a small restaurant, but they have a wide spread of non veg items including, chicken curry, chicken fry, chicken parts curry, turkey curry, pigeon masala, small crabs curry, fish curry, fish fry, duck curry, and many more. By the way, it was my first time seeing pigeon curry, though I have had heard about it.
