Hosted by author and Edge Hill alumni, David Hearn, this first session focuses on the story of merchants, captains and other Liverpool people who were involved in the Atlantic Slave Trade. The story of this terrible trade is an important part of Liverpool’s history and yet it is often forgotten or ignored and even rejected.
