Описание к видео ERN eUROGEN Webinar 61: ARM multidisciplinary treatment of continence disorders

The webinar was presented on Wednesday 14th December by Danielle Weenink, nurse practitioner; Wies van Aalst, pediatric physiotherapist; Aukje Aerts, pediatric psychologist; all from the Radboudumc Nijmegen, The Netherlands; and Dr. Eberhard Schmiedeke, pediatric surgeon, Bremen, Germany. It is aimed at both ARM health care providers especially of the mentioned professions and interested patients and their families.

An anorectal malformation often is a complex condition associated with multiple somatic and functional problems. The best surgery and surgical follow-up is not enough to solve the manifold problems coming with the malformation. In this webinar a multidisciplinary approach especially to dysfunctional defecation and micturition is presented from the different viewpoints of a multiprofessional team.

The ARM webinar series covers all aspects of paediatric colorectal surgery, in particular (congenital) anorectal malformations. They are joint presentations between ERNs eUROGEN and ERNICA, and are supported by ARM-net.
