E-Fertigation System in Cucumber Planting:OKU Project

E-fertigation with hydroponic is easily implemented anywhere there is flowing water nearby and requires little maintenance. However, the monitoring of water can be monitored and controlled remotely to manage water usage efficiently as well provides insights information such as soil humidity or temperature on the field. Core Flowlogic solution incorporates Industry 4.0 and empowers young farmers with a physical disability (OKU) into agripreneur interest. The total number of youth with disabilities were 453,258 persons with 35% of those with a physical disability is the highest number recorded. Not every investment in new technology destroys jobs, rather will create opportunities. The solution using CORE Flowlogic 6.0 is interesting, engaging and appealing to these OKUs. The system uses sensors to monitor the watering system. The young OKU farmers will know when to irrigate, and with automatic watering, its use will lead to an increase of yields. Building this module is a copyrighted multi-channel application for agriculture education, information and communication technology that combines cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies and insights. The system helps OKU young and small scale farmers to predict water availability, electronic sensors to collect soil data (moisture, nutrients, temperature) and improve their yields. CORE Flowlogic is a self-funded, proudly Malaysian homegrown innovation. It offers a Pick-n-Place Flowchart block based on the Interactive visual software tool. The visual software tool offers activities for developing programming algorithms, testing, data collection, processing, visualization with IOT/IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) capabilities. The blocks are designed in an appropriate flow and logic blending with mathematics, text, timers, media and IoT functions. The innovation offers its own uniqueness and values as it is engaging learners and turn them to become OKU Agripreneur. The OKU will later be groomed and engaged in income-generating activities and green agriculture. Malaysia will benefit a sufficient number of qualified OKU building sustainable agriculture, clean, and data-driven farming to increase productivity.
