Paganini Caprice 1, Practice Guide (Ricochet, Chords)

Today's video offers a few practice suggestions for Paganini Caprice 1. This caprice is a great exercise for both the left and right hands. For the bow, it is all about ricochet. For the left hand, we can develop our understanding of chord patterns on the violin. My demonstrations here are at slow tempos, but I listed a few recordings of professionals playing at higher speeds at the end of the video description.
