In this video, Prakhar discusses about the various types of companies, and the basic of how the RoC Compliance is done for Indian Companies.
Topics discussed in the video -
MCA Website, Digital Signatures, Company Forms, MCA Security Warnings, Finalizing the Form (Check and Pre-Scrutiny), Uploading the Form in MCA.
MCA Website -
MCA.gov.in - One destination website for Compliance as well as information. Need to create a login ID to upload forms.
Digital Signatures -
For authenticating forms, directors/ professionals have to attach Digital Signatures (DSC) in the forms. First, the DSC must be linked with the DIN number of Director/ Membership Number of Professional, through the MCA website. And for that MCA EM Signer must be installed.
Forms -
For filing forms, first we have to download the blank PDF of the form from the MCA website. They are updated on a regular basis, so we should have practice of fresh download every time we fill the form again.
Security Warnings -
After downloading and opening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat, there are several security warnings popping up, which are related to the autofilland authentication functionalities. We have to enable them by pressing “Allow”.
Also while using the prefill button for the first time, we get a pop-up that some features have been disabled for security. In that, we have to select “Options-Trust this document always”.
Finalizing the Form
After filling all the required details, we have to attach required documents and press “Check Form”, which does validation checks and attachment checks. The next step is to affix DSCs. After the DSCs have been affixed, we need to press the “Pre-Scrutiny” button, which validates the DSC and maps them with DIN/ MRN. After the Pre-Scrutiny is successful, the form is ready for upload!
Uploading the Form
We login to the MCA website using our Login ID, go to “My Workspace” and upload the forms. On successful upload, an SRN (Service Request Number) will be generated, which should be noted down and can be used to track the status of our form (only from that login from which form was uploaded). It will ask whether we want to pay the fees immediately, or use Pay Later functionality, where we can defer the payment. In both cases, a ‘challan’ will be generated, which should be saved. Until we have paid the fees of the form, it is not considered to be uploaded. (Though the calculation of ‘Additional Fees’ stops at day when we have uploaded, even if using Pay Later).
