2024 Mitsubishi Triton Athlete On-Road/Walkaround Review

Mitsubishi has officially launched the top variants of its Triton pickup truck in Thailand and we drove it through the winding mountain roads up in the northern provinces of Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son.
The Triton Athlete 4WD AT comes with a new diesel turbo engine capable of developing 204ps and 470Nm as well as an ADAS package as well as more aggressive styling compared to the lower variants.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with power being transferred to all four wheels via the Super Select 4WD II system offering a large number of driving modes.
The suspension and steering of the Triton Athlete provided excellent dynamics through the sharp corners while maintaining a high level of ride comfort.
