In Ark Survival Ascended EP188 on The Island, Phase 2 of the snow biome base build finally starts to feel real. In part 13 of this build series, I push past the foundations and begin enclosing the structure with walls, windows, and doors, turning an empty layout into a proper building.

This episode is packed with steady progress and a few classic Ark moments. I craft and place more stone foundations, erect the main walls, install windows and doors, and add a large gate and gateway (along with stairs) on the west side of the new construction. I also place a reinforced window overlooking the Phase 1 snow biome castle, giving this expansion both function and a great view.

Not everything goes perfectly. A misplaced wall ends up higher than intended, but a Mammoth-assisted pickup saves the day and lets me redeploy it elsewhere. I also attempt to fix the awkward gap at the bottom of the stairs between Phase 1 and Phase 2. When things refuse to line up as expected, I improvise with a ceiling placement to make climbing between sections smoother and more practical.

As usual, resources start to run dry, sending me back out into the snow biome to harvest more thatch and stone before progress can continue. Phase 2 is coming together nicely, but the hardest challenge still looms ahead, the roof has not even begun yet.
