As mentioned in the video, the Earl Grey we get in the UK is usually pot strength as opposed to the cup strength you often get abroad. For Earl Grey, that makes a big difference to the amount of flavour.

I'd also recommend steering clear of decaffeinated Earl Grey as the caffeine is actually a significant part of the flavour and it's nowhere near as nice. If you get Twinings, the decaf pack looks almost identical, so make sure you check. Even a seasoned tea drinker such as myself have accidentally bought the wrong one a few times.

Some prefer their Earl Grey without milk or sugar; it is a very different taste, so feel free to experiment to find what you like best.
