Shri Kote Venkateshwar or Venkataramana Swamy Temple is on Krishnarajendra Road in Bengaluru,Karnataka. Built in 1689 in Dravidian style of architecture by the then ruler of Mysore ,King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. The temple is near the Old Fort adjacent to the residence of the Mysore Wodeyar royal family. At the entrance of the temple there is beautifully carved gopuram then a Dhwaja Stambh and a Holy basil plant and decorated with Dwarpalaks.A hall and then the garbha griha with Bhagwan Venkataramana Swamy black stone idol beautifully decorated with Tulsi and flowers garlands and jewellery.Bhagwan has chaturbhuj Rupa. Walls of the temple are plain with small carvings at the base and Thiruman on the walls signifying presence of Bhagwan Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi. At the North West of the garbha griha is Mata Padmavathi shrine and to the south west is Hanuman ji shrine.
The temple is decorated with puranic stories depictions and paintings of Bhagwan Venkataramana and Shri Ram Darbar.
Vaikuntha Ekadashi is the main festival in this temple.
