After running through Ghost Recon and SOCOM, it’s time to enter the shadows and experience the origins of Sam Fisher in the very first Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.

This is my first ever playthrough of the original 2002 classic — a game that completely changed how tactical gameplay worked. No run-and-gun, no spray-and-pray… just patience, light, sound, and precision.

For a lot of players this was the moment stealth stopped being optional and became the entire game.

We’re going to see how well it actually holds up today in 2026 — does the grandfather of modern stealth still feel tense… or just frustrating?

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell follows NSA operative Sam Fisher, a lone field agent sent behind enemy lines to prevent a global conflict. Armed with experimental night-vision goggles and minimal backup, every mission depends on staying unseen, unheard, and one mistake away from failure.
