2 Samuel 21:1-22 Old Testament Bible Study Sep 22, 2024

Welcome to our Sunday evening Old Testament Bible Study. David continues to have problems but the problems in tonight’s study are the legacy from the reign of King Saul and his actions. This situation reminds us that foolish decision of leaders can cause the people to suffer and David must now resolve the issue. The resolution was not pleasant and resulted in the death of seven individuals. The chapter concludes with the Philistine giants being slain (remember Goliath? His sons and brother remembered David too!). During this time David grew faint and his men told him that he should not go out to battle anymore.
