I always say, for a successful surgery, 4 things need to happen.
1) To have the right diagnosis.
In Plastic Surgery it seems simple because a lot of times the problems are easily observed. However, not every surgeon has the "eye" to visualize the beauty and details beneath the surface waiting to emerge. With this patient… in her pre-op we went over every detail of the face so there were no surprises.
2) The correct plan.
On her surgery day, we meticulously marked out our surgical plan.
3.)To execute the plan perfectly in the operating room.
We did exactly that.
4) The patient has to recover perfectly.
A detailed post-operative program to speed recovery, increase patient comfort, and minimize complications such as hematoma or infection.

Her cheeks are higher and her nose looks more straight and more refined even at 3 months (it usually takes a year before all the swelling goes down in a redo rhinoplasty.)
