How To Fix Windows Update Error 0xc1900104 in Windows 11

Check Relevant Services:
1. Type in Services in Windows search and press Enter.
2. Find Windows Update.
3. If it is already running, right-click and pick Restart.
4. If the service is not running, double-click it, and select Automatic under the Startup type from the drop-down menu.
5. Click Start, Apply, and OK.
6. Repeat this process for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) and Cryptographic services.

Run the Troubleshooter:
1. Type Troubleshoot in Windows search and hit Enter.
2. Select Additional troubleshooters/Other troubleshooters.
3. Find Windows Update from the list and select Run the troubleshooter/Run.
4. Wait till the scan is finished you will be provided with potential causes so you can proceed with fixes.

Repair System File Corruption:
1. Type cmd in Windows search.
2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
3. The User Account Control (UAC) window will ask whether you want to allow changes to your computer click Yes.
4. Copy and paste this command and hit Enter: sfc /scannow
5. Wait for the scan to finish.
6. As soon as it finishes, Windows will report whether integrity violations were found and if they could be fixed. Regardless of the outcome, use these commands Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, next.
