The exterior of this 55 Chevy Bel Air is truly outstanding. The bodywork is exceptional throughout. The sheet metal is laser straight and the gap lines are precise. The hood, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. It sports spectacular PPG Guards Red paint that is ocean deep and virtually flawless. The paint was recently detailed to a high level show quality shine by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The car was outfitted with all new tinted glass throughout which is crystal clear. The car has a killer stance on Boyd Coddington “Junkyard Dog” polished wheels that are 18x8 on the front and 20x10 on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with Toyo Proxes that are 235-40-18 on the front and 295-40-20 on the back.

The interior of this 55 Chevy Bel Air is also truly outstanding. It’s been tastefully designed and well executed. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced new during the build. A new complete Painless wiring kit was added in the entire car. The entire interior was wrapped with Dynamat insulation to keep the cabin cool and quiet. Starting from the top it has a tan leather headliner with chrome rails, two custom dome lights and a chrome rear view mirror. Cadillac Natural Shale colored leather covers the seating, door panels and console while Rolls-Royce tan carpeting is used below. The Billet Specialties Stiletto 14” polished steering wheel was has a tan wrap that matches the upholstery. The center console is home to the Vintage Air Conditioning control panel, Alpine stereo unit, Air Ride Technologies gauges, dual cup holders, Lokar shifter, air ride switches, emergency brake lever and rear dual cup holders. It also has chrome door strikers, custom fuel injected embossed door sills and four custom matching floor mats. The trunk compartment is equally as beautiful as the interior. The trunk lid pivots on chrome hinges.

The engine compartment is highly detailed with many custom parts throughout. It’s truly like a jewelry box with all the bling. Everything in the engine bay was restored or replaced new during the build. The hood pivots on chrome hinges. The backside of the hood is smooth and painted body color. The firewall was customized, smoothed and painted to match the exterior. The inner fenders and radiator support were also painted to match the exterior for the ultimate appearance. The car is powered by a new Z06 Corvette “LS6” engine that was supplied by Street and Performance located in Mena, Arkansas. The engine was dressed with a chrome intake, red Bel Air embossed valve covers, chrome air tube, chrome pulleys, chrome alternator, chrome air conditioning compressor and receiver dryer. The engine is cooled by a Griffin polished aluminum radiator with a chrome top hose, dual Spectra electric fans and chrome overfill canister. The engine breathes through ceramic headers and exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The engine is coupled to a new 4L60E transmission with Specialty Auto Tech transmission cooler. The power is transferred through an aluminum driveshaft to a new Ford 9” POSI rea rend with 3.55 gears that was painted to match the exterior color. It’s equipped with a CPP power steering box, chrome power steering reservoir and braided lines.

The undercarriage is also highly detailed with many custom parts throughout. Everything underneath this car was restored or replaced new during the build. The underside of this car is so nice it should be displayed with mirrors and lights at a car show. The entire bottom side of the body was painted body color to match the exterior. It has a new stainless fuel tank along with new fuel pump and lines. It’s equipped with a complete Ride Tech front suspension system with powder coated upper and lower control arms, sway bar and air shocks. It’s equipped with a complete Ride Tech rear suspension system with chrome 4-link setup, pan hard bar and air shocks. The windshield wiper motor, power brake booster and brake master cylinder were hidden under the dash. The 4-wheel disc brakes were recently upgraded to a Wilwood system. The front has a 6-piston red caliper with a 12.88 drilled and slotted rotor. The rear has a 4-piston red caliper with a 12.19 drilled and slotted rotor.
