So I Am Loved (new song demo) - by Melody Hwang [Lyric Video]

（中文在以下）Last Sunday Pastor Masa spoke on Self-condemnation, how we beat ourselves up, remembering our own failures. We forget that our Father God doesn't see us that way. His love and grace is given freely; we can doing nothing to earn it. And it is not up to us to judge ourselves. As Paul Apostle wrote to the Corinthian church, it is a very small thing that he should be judged by anyone or by any human court; he doesn't even judge himself (1 Corinthians 4:3-5). This verse from the Sunday sermon spoke to me the most: ”By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything" (1 John 3:19-20). I love the contrast between God's greatness and our hearts... While God cares about our hearts, we should not trust our hearts more than we trust God's Word over us. This was what inspired this song.

So yesterday, Tuesday morning, I spent some time reviewing my notes and wrote this song. It's very different from my usual style, much more chill and vibey and pop--but I really like it! I've also been learning how to use a new guitar software instrument--if you can't tell, everything you hear is fake! haha. I wroted, recorded, and edited everything yesterday 😆 Hot of the press! Hope you like it!
