Composting keeps excess waste out of our landfills, reduces waste, reduces soil erosion, conserves water, and will make your plants rich with nutrients which helps make them more resilient to pests and diseases.
Be sure to loosen up the soil beneath your compost bin, and add food waste/manure to the bottom to help attract worms and micro-organisms that will help break down items within your bin.

ADD items such as vegetable peels, fruit peels, coffee grounds, crushed egg shells, grass cuttings, dead leaves and shredded paper.
Do NOT add stones, glass, plastic, chemicals, fish or dairy products, raw or cooked meat. Diapers or used wipes, human/cat/or dog feces as these can carry dangerous pathogens!
