There's a small hotel - 1934 Gibson L-5

Hey guys, welcome to the Acoustic Standard #250. I had planned on learning that song long ago but got lazy. Here is a great tune from 1936 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart called "There's a small hotel". Frank Sinatra sang it in the movie Pal Joey in 1957.

I'm playing a 1934 Gibson L-5, 16 inches, strung with D'Addario Phosphore bronze EJ24 gauge 13-56. I'm using a gator dunlop 0.71mm pick, and the sound is captured by a Neumann TLM 103 and a Bluebird microphone.

The third one "Three sides of a Coin" is just out, so don't hesitate to drop me an email if you'd like a physical copy, i can ship worldwide !!

I may be considering recording a physical album with these acoustic standards as some of you have asked for it, but as printing cds is being a bigger quest year after year, please drop me a message if you think it's a good idea or if you'd like to preorder one or give suggestions etc.

I also have a youtube channel for the Django stuff with my 4tet :    / @romainvuillemin
