Today we pray the Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) on January 21, 2026, contemplating God’s victory and faithfulness: the Resurrection, the Ascension, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption of Mary, and the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin. In these mysteries we proclaim that the Lord keeps His promises: when everything seems dark, He is still working; when we fail, He remains faithful; when the heart grows weary, He renews hope.
Today’s intention: gratitude, because God was faithful this year. Lord, we thank You for life and the breath of each day; for the health that remained, for strength that came when we had no strength left, and for our daily bread. Thank You for shelter, work, opportunities, lessons, and corrections that helped us grow. Thank You for the people who truly loved us—those who stayed, those who helped us rise, and even those who left—because even goodbyes taught us to rely more on You.
Thank You for trials we didn’t choose, yet never walked through alone. Thank You for the tears, because You saw them. Thank You for silent battles, because You carried us. Thank You for the times You protected us from dangers we never noticed, and for the times You said “wait” when we demanded “now.” Lord, forgive us for the moments we complained more than we gave thanks. Today we look back and confess: You were there.
We thank You for small victories: for every day we chose to keep going, for conversations that healed, for prayers that restored peace, and for steps of faith taken with trembling hearts. We also thank You for those who are no longer with us: for their lives, what they planted in us, and the love they left behind. Receive them in Your mercy and comfort those who miss them.
Lord, let gratitude make us humble and guard us from bitterness. Teach us to count our blessings, to celebrate what is good without pride, and to learn from what is hard without resentment. Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see Your presence in everyday life. Blessed Virgin Mary, grateful woman, teach us to say “let it be done” with trust and to praise God even in simple things.
Lord Jesus, receive this Rosary as an offering of thanksgiving. May this new year find us closer to You, more faithful, cleaner within, and more ready to love. To You be glory forever.
