The closed-cell insole prevents from water-logging and is perfect for stream crossings. The shoe dries out quickly. And the breathable upper mesh material keeps your feet cool and comfortable. The Vibram Megagrip outsole provides excellent grip and traction. And there's a rock plate located in the forefoot the gives your feet a little security and safety from sharp rocks. These shoes were made with stability in mind. And they have a roomy toe box area- much like Altra Running shoes, but without the delamination and quality control issues.
