About E-Kalyan Portal

E-Kalyan Portal is the dedicated online scholarship portal of Government of Jharkhand. Run by the Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward Classes Welfare Department, the portal hosts all the scholarship schemes implemented. The students who are domicile of Jharkhand state can apply for these scholarships. The portal aims to achieve transparency and accountability in effective implementation and disbursement of scholarships within the state. The key schemes listed under this portal can be categorized into three sections namely –

• Pre-Matric Scholarship
• Post-Matric (Within State) Scholarship
• Post-Matric (Outside State) Scholarship

These scholarships are meant for students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Backward Classes (BC).

E-Kalyan Portal - Registration
The students who find themselves eligible for the scholarships available on E-Kalyan portal can apply for it online only. They need to register on the portal through ‘Scholarship Registration’ section by providing the necessary details.

E-Kalyan Portal – Scholarship Application
Once the students have registered on the portal, they can procced with the scholarship application by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. They need to select the scholarship they want to apply for and proceed with application form filling.
