This project is an ESP32-based RFID Attendance System that records the entry time of registered users using RFID cards. It features an I2C LCD display to show instructions and real-time clock (RTC) updates, and logs all attendance data into a CSV file stored in the internal SPIFFS memory. The system creates its own Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing users to connect via a smartphone or computer to access the web interface. Through this web portal, users can view attendance records, download logs in CSV format, delete them if needed, and even update the system's date and time manually using a built-in "Set Time" page. It's completely standalone, requiring no internet, which makes it ideal for schools, offices, and temporary setups where internet connectivity may not be available.

Upon powering up, the ESP32 initializes all modules including the RTC (DS1307), RFID reader (MFRC522), and I2C LCD. It also starts an access point and hosts a local web server, displaying the IP address on the LCD screen for easy mobile or PC access. When a user scans their RFID card, the system checks if the UID matches any predefined users. If matched, it displays a welcome message along with the name; otherwise, it shows "Unknown Card." The current date and time are fetched from the RTC and logged into a CSV file stored in SPIFFS. Simultaneously, the user can access the web interface by connecting to the ESP32 hotspot. The Home page allows them to view logs, download attendance data, or clear the file. The Set Time page offers manual date and time input fields to update the RTC directly from the browser without needing to upload new code. The LCD constantly updates with the current time unless interrupted by a scan notification.
