Ceasefire in Lebanon

Amidst the ongoing tensions between Israel and Lebanon, the recent Israeli ground invasions into southern Lebanese territories have brought widespread destruction and displacement. In response, calls for a ceasefire have gained momentum, aiming to alleviate the immediate crisis and prevent further escalation. The ceasefire agreement, brokered through international mediation, seeks to halt hostilities and allow for humanitarian relief efforts. However, ensuring compliance from all parties remains a challenge, as sporadic violations threaten the fragile truce.
In this regard, the Center for Law and Security seeks to host a webinar on “Ceasefire in Lebanon” to discuss pressing questions regarding ceasefire’s potential impact and long-term prospects for peace.
