Our hometown in Val d'Hérens has its own pace and style. We'd be pleased to hang out in kickass spots. I'm based at Chalet Lagettaz located in the lovely Val d’Hérens in Switzerland. Zoom in paradise. I prefer to put Nature, culture, traditions or human relations on the forefront. Val d’Hérens has so much to offer; it is a land of superlatives. It is home to the many glaciers and the majestuous Dent Blanche with a peak at 4.360m. The Winter makes no compromises whether you love ski mountaineering, splitboarding, cross-country skiing or ice climbing. The Summer is simply mind-blowing. Scenery is amazing from Spring to Autumn with fantastic colors. There is amazing geology presented in a unique precious case. Indeed, Val d’Hérens offers through its landscapes, glaciers and rivers, and also its flora, extraordinary conditions for the observation of natural processes and landscape changes. For instance, during the last glaciation, glaciers merged at Euseigne to form a single valley glacier. following the retreat of the glaciers, erosion shaped the moraine crest, preserving the pyramids ladies with their hats. Highly combative temperament. Back in 2007, looking for a place to built up a chalet, I scouted most of Wallis from Nendaz to Andermatt. I’ve decided to settle down in Val d’Hérens because culture, tradition and even local dialect is well preserved. Delicious food, particular traditions. For years, I’m blogging, sharing on social networks and shooting small videos about my passion about outdoor activities, food and nature. We’re confident that you’ll love our picture or videos. However, more important to us, would be having you on Les Rocs, in Evolène or one of the villages of the valley.
